Potato Chip Cookie Tips:
ONLY use thick Potato Chips.
Most recipes on the Internet call for regular potato chips (which are thin chips) but it does make a difference if you use a thick potato chip like Ruffles. they don't turn into mush when mixing and they give you a big crunch in the cookie. You get that sweet salty taste that's delishiousssss!

ONLY use room temperatured butter.
This recipe calls for 2 sticks of butter but I always
use about 3 tablespoons more. It really depends
on what type of potato chips you use. Since there is no milk, water or eggs in this recipe; the butter is what holds your mix together- because of this you may have to adjust your amount of butter.
Always make sure your butter is room temperature and not melted and not cold. Cooking Tips

Great with Nuts.
Try doing a nut mix instead of all pecans! Yum!
You can vary this recipe in many different way
as well. Like... adding choco-chips or coconut-

Make your cookies thick!
Make your cookies thick. You can do it! The dough does not flatten out in the pan during cooking like many cookie recipes do. They crisp more on the bottom than around the edges like you would expect. Since they hold their shape in cooking.... and stay really thick, their uniform size makes it easy to pack them in bags, boxes and jars.

Potato Chips in Cookies?
You bet! This is one of my favorite cookie recipes because it's so unusual and so fast to make, as there's no eggs, water or milk in these cookies! I've made them for years, they cook up to be very crunchy with the pecans and potato chips. If you enjoy foods that are sweet and salty at the same time, then you will love these cookies :)
