Happy Holiday's Everyone!
The very first time I ever ate this yummie dessert was at the yearly family Christmas party as a young girl. My Daddy's side of the family would alway's get together each and every year and shared many wonderful traditional recipes and new recipes as well. One year my Aunt Evelyn made this wonderful cold dessert that was called "Four Layer Delight" because it had 4 layers to it. Ohhh let me tell you, it was fantastic! This dessert was so beautiful, just to look at it made your mouth water. It was a simple layer of chocolate pudding but the sweet creamcheese layer and nutty crust layer made it taste very fancy that's for sure. Mercy! It was a Holiday in a glass bowl.

wait to get a big spoon and scoop myself out a big bowl of it. Ever-since I had that first bite I was hooked! When Christmas came around every year after that I alway's asked..... hey, did Aunt Evelyn bring her Four Layer Delight? Did she! Did she!?

Aunt Evelyn was happy to share the recipe with me and now that I'm an adult and cook in my own kitchen, I make this several times a year. This recipe is not just for the Holiday's. It's a perfect cold dessert to serve on hot summer nights too.
