It's Halloween and everyone eats eyeballs for supper right. Everything from sweet monster eyeballs to dessert eyeballs. The photo above is a delicious savory version of mozzarella eyes and for those that don't know, it's an Italian classic dish that works perfectly for a nice eyeball dish for Halloween.
Mozzarella Eyeballs are found at all our spooky parties because everyone loves mozzarella cheese and this great photo gives you an up close looks at how spooky fresh they look.
Mozzarella balls are always marinated in your favorite marinate. Traditionally it's fresh mozzarella, basil, plum tomatoes and olive oil, seasoned with salt and pepper- but you can use what spices strike your fancy. evilmadscientist.com gives you great instructions on how to make the eyes (like the photo shows).

Halloween is all about eating food with gross-you-out names or food that looks spooky, gorey or gross- and we have to say that "Mozzarella Eyeballs" fits just perfect for a gross-you-out food. Now lets talk about how it tastes. We make these ourselves and serve them at our own parties and we have to tell you that they taste really good!
