Origin of this Holiday
Our research did not find the creator, or the origin of this day. We did however find that this holiday has been celebrated for years. There is plenty of documentation to support that "Dont go to work unless it's fun day"" does indeed exist.
This holiday is referred to as a "National" day. However, we did not find any congressional records or presidential proclamations for this day. Even though we didn't, this is still a holiday that is publicized to celebrate. So have fun with it and celebrate it!

What is the Definition of Fun?

When is "Don't go to work unless it's fun day? Always April 3rd!
What is this holiday about?
Our research didn't actually find the real answer to that question- The idea of "Not" going to work unless the day is going to be fun is a bit on the risky side, so we can't imagine anyone actually refusing to go to work in fear of jeopardizing their position. We're wondering if this holiday is actually referring to "don't go to work unless it's fun day" in the context of "Do a job that you love so every work day will be fun." Yeah we like that meaning the best! Stress free!
How is this holiday celebrated?
Most people are going to go to work no matter what, so if your one of those people, then we suggest you have lots of fun on this day and try to make it fun for others too!
