Fun with food

One of the first things we think about when it comes to fun with food is pumpkins! Yep the pumpkin is a kids favorite fun food because you can do so many things with a pumpkin along with eating it! Pumpkin Carving, jack-o-lanterns, crafts with pumpkin seeds, baked pumpkin bowls, roasted pumpkin seeds for snacks, pumpkin soup and just plain oh decorating them :)

Kids love macaroni crafts and this is a perfect food to have fun with. 1) Kids love glueing dry macaroni to cardboard and making pretty pictures. You can use colored macaroni (like spinach/green) or you can let the kids paint the dry macaroni. 2) Another popular kids craft is macaroni picture frames. All you do is buy cheap wooden picture frames from the dollar store and glue on macaroni. 3) Little girls love to make macaroni jewelry! Let them string up necklaces and wear them for the whole day. 4) Macaroni Day is in July when macaroni crafts are popular. 5) Don't just have a craft day with noodles, have the kids eat noodles too! Everybody loves spaghetti!
